What do clubs look for in prospective members? This may vary from club to club, but most clubs look for the following aspects:

• Respect for both people and dogs
• Willingness to devote the time to be active with the club
• A willingness to learn, share knowledge and grow

Notice that nothing on the list is about a dog?  Clubs are about loyalty, family and relationship.  Dogs will come and go, but in a good club, members stay.  So, clubs look for dedicated individuals who are good people and who will be committed to the club and its membership. They look for a great team player who fits in with their particular family, regardless of the genetic capabilities and talents of the dog that they have.

Our club provides a venue that allows for mentorship, friendship and a sense of belonging.  We share in the excitement of a new litter, comfort each other as a dog passes, tackle health problems, debate structure of dogs, discuss upcoming events and always strive for the betterment of our breed that we love so dear.
